A Transforming Hope-Chapter 4

As I walked out of Coppers office, I got stopped by a still injured, but slightly healed Lopunny.

"Mrs.Yessica, I'm so sorry for what I did. I really did not mean to..." before I could finish, she stopped me. "It's not your fault." she said. "You were just trying to help a friend, I'm the one who should be apologizing. I sometimes lose my temper and I hurt people around me." Now that she was not in the rage mood like in the lunchroom, she seemed pretty calm. "Your name is Red, right?" She asked. "Yeah." I answered back. "Since I'm injured now, I can't teach in battle class today, So a substitute will be taking my place for awhile and I'm wondering if you can be that substitute for me..." I was totally thrown off guard when she said this. Seriously now, teachers work is a teachers work and a students work is a students work, but this?! "Please Red, I'm injured and you showed good skill when you battled me and I think that the other students will have a good time. So, can you please be the substitute for today?" Like I said, I was completely surprised by this question. She was asking me to do a teachers job and I was just starting in classes here,but I did see that she desperately needed it. "Fine, I will do it." I said proudly. "Thank you, now here is a list of what you are going to teach today." I started reading...

-SUBSTITUTE TO DO LIST: BATTLE CLASS-

NUMBER 1: MAKE SURE YOU INTRODUCE YOUR SELF TO THE STUDENTS

NUMBER 2: HAVE THEM PAIR UP WITH ONE ANOTHER SO THAT THEY CAN PRACTICE BATTLING AGAINST EACH OTHER

NUMBER 3: YOU CAN CHOOSE ONE OF THEM TO BATTLE YOU

I got done reading and handed it back to Ms.Yessica. "I won't disappoint you ma'am." I said calmly. "Good." She said cheerfully. I ran through the hallways of the base, excited about telling everybody about this.

"WHAT?!"

"Yeah, Ms.Yessica told me to substitute in battle class today" I said in a proud way. It looked like Stella was about to burst and Geo looked like he was about to throw up. "What? Is there something wrong with it?" I asked sternly. "No, no, no!" Geo quickly shouted "It's just that this is not the first time Ms.Yessica has asked a student to substitute for her." This was really weird, what he was telling me. Was that big of a deal? "What do you mean?" I asked. He turned around to Stella, they whispering to each other. He turned around again. "Nothing! You'll just have to see for yourself." And with that, they all left me, except for Samuel. What were they so worried about? What was I to expect from this, especially on my first day?

As battle class started, I walked in with a special marking on my head to show that I was substituting. Geo, Samuel and Williams little brother Flame were in the class. I stopped and noticed many staring at me and talking under their breath. It was weird. This was my first time actually trying to teach something to others, and they weren't even human! "Alright, let's get started then!" I called out. "I am Red the Lucario and I am substituting for battle class and I am actually new...to...the base." Many were mumbling and some even gasped. I heard a chuckle from the back of the group. "So, you are really going to substitute for us?" Everybody backed away a bit, revealing the voice. He was a Magmar, and he seemed to be extremely obnoxious.

"Yes, I am." I answered a bit confused. Is this Stella and Geo were talking about? "You've got to be joking. Only the strong are allowed to substitute, not noobs like you!" He started swinging his arms around, which really confused me, until he shouted: FIRE SPIN!
Fire started engulfing his arms, then the fire shot out in a rotating motion at me. I dodged out of the way, but something tells me that he wasn't done. Before anything else happened, all the other Pokeuman went to the side to watch the battle. "Now that everybody is out of the way...THIS WILL BE YOUR LESSON, LEARNING NOT TO F*** WITH ME, AURA SPHERE!" I formed a sphere made out of the red aura that I used before and I shot it with such power, that it made the room shake. The Magmar looked scare at the sudden change of power, and he jumped out of the way to dodge, but the it was like the aura sphere knew what was going to happen, and it hit the Magmar, flinging him across the room. Then I said something that I didn't even intend to say: RED DRAGON BLAST!!!
Smoke rose from my back, transforming into a red dragon, then firing a giant red beam at the Magmar, he screamed in pain, and then nothing.

The smoke cleared out of the room and everybody went over to where the Magmar was, he was struggling to get up, I then walked over to him, he was absolutely petrified when he saw me  over him. "P-please, no more!". I held out my paw, he was shocked. He just experienced pain beyond belief, and now he being helped by the one who caused this pain? In the Magmars head, he was thinking: "Just, what are you?!"

The Magmar lifted his hand and I helped him up. "T-th-that was a good battle." He said with a small smile. I nodded in agreement. But there was something that I didn't understand, it was the fact that I just used an unrealistic move that I wasn't even thinking about.






What is happening to me?
